What fun it is to have teachers that love to infuse their curriculum with ART!

After reading The Quiltmaker’s Gift (by Jeff Brumbeau), Kindergarten students collaged colored squares to make a quilt for their teddy bears.

The bears were made by reinforcing shapes like circles, ovals, and triangles to build their bear.

In their class they discussed and wrote about what their bear may be dreaming about.

In our final art class, we made mini-books for our bears to hold.  The books had images and writing.

We have some very clever artists at Fletcher Elementary School with BIG imaginations!
