I believe that students thrive when given the opportunity to add complexity to projects and have a growth mindset in their learning. I enjoy conecting the dots with other disciplines. In this project I worked with MCS 3rd grade teacher Jennifer Coulter to make an art image that used fractions. In the art studio, the piece was created. In the math classroom, the fractions will then be added up and expressed below their artwork that is currently hanging in the Mater Christi hallways.
Art makes learning more engaging!
